Newoman.org seeks to offer a new, fresh perspective on culture and current events: a constructive, innovative, solution-oriented perspective that will stimulate a positive cultural transformation by fostering attitudes of reflection and responsibility.
Our Outlook…
1.- Men and women are of equal dignity. Every human being is important and valuable to society. Each person’s innate dignity and fundamental human rights demand unconditional protection and respect.
2.- Men and women are intelligent and free, capable of reflecting on the world around them, formulating right judgments, and making good decisions.
3.- Men and women are united in the same cause. By natural complementarity, through shared responsibility and active collaboration, men and women together enrich and build up all areas of social life.
4.- Men and women are capable of true love, of placing others’ needs and well-being before their own, of living beyond the limits of their own self-seeking and desire for personal gain, and thus, of finding genuine fulfilment in life and building a more human world.
5.- Men and women are responsible for the world they live in. A nation’s development depends upon the free commitment, organized initiative and active collaboration of all members of society.
Our proposal…
1.- Make integral education accessible to all members of society.
2.- Create social, juridical and economic conditions favorable to the family, conditions which will enable the family to carry out its natural functions freely and fully, and which will constructively assist families in need (poverty, unemployment, violence or abuse, disintegration, etc.) so that they will be able to overcome their difficulties and develop more fully.
3.- Promote measures that encourage, legally regulate, and ensure the correct use of scientific and medical research.
4.- Foster peaceful social coexistence among members of society and eliminate the sources of violence and exploitation.
5.- Stimulate economic development and foster good governance in keeping with the principles of solidarity and subsidiarity.
